MONTHLY SPECIALS AND NEWS LETTER
Summer   Newsletter

Hi there friends !

Summer is here finally.  Some of the best deals in the year can be found now.

My friends  looking for the perfect tropical beach vacation often ask me for suggestions. I represent more
than 1,300 tropical hotels and resorts, and in this newsletter I thought I'd offer some tips that will help you
narrow down the choices and find that ideal spot.

You guys on a tight budget will generally find that the cheaper options are relatively close, in Mexico --
both the Pacific Coast and the Yucatan Peninsula -- and the Dominican Republic.

Cancun is a terrific choice for those seeking a lively nightlife, but the town is always in buzzing when fall
descends. Families with kids and those looking for a more laid-back setting should consider Playa del
Carmen, which is about an hour from the Cancun airport and doesn't get the party crowd. Cozumel is a
45-minute ferry ride from Playa, while the Mayan ruins at Tulum are a little more than an hour away. Cozumel
has its own airport, so guests staying on this island can fly direct from the U.S.

For the broadest selection of all-inclusive resorts, where the upfront resort price covers accommodations,
meals, beverages and activities, check out the options in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. All-inclusive
properties are plentiful and varied in these two destinations.

If you want to really get away from it all, some tropical retreats are truly off the beaten path. Anguilla
measures just 35 square miles, and Peter Islan is a privately owned island resort in the British Virgin
Islands. Nevi, St. Kitts, St. Barts and St. Vincent & The Grenadines also offer an exclusive experience. There
is an extra cost for the seclusion these spots offer and the additional flight time to get there. There are
fewer flights, and you'll have to make at least one connection to get to these destinations from the
mainland U.S. or Canada.

Snorkelers and divers will find clear waters and colorful sea life throughout the Caribbean, but there are a
few places that stand out. Cozumel boasts 20 miles of protected coral reefs and has been a favorite diving
destination since marine explorer Jacques Cousteau shot a documentary there in 1961. Turks & Caicos,
Bonair and Exuma and San Salvador in the Bahamas are other good choices for snorkeling and diving
enthusiasts.

Fans of deep-sea fishing should browse our resorts in the Florida Keys and along Mexico's Pacific Coast --
Mazatlan, Manzanillo and Los Cabos are all sportfishing meccas.

For golfers, challenging courses in beautiful settings are abundant in nearly all of the tropical destinations
we offer, but you'll find some of the best courses in Bermuda, Hawaii and Florida.

Nature lovers can explore the scenic hiking trails and white-sand beaches of St. John in the U.S. Virgin
Islands -- a national park covers two-thirds of the island. Costa Rica is a top ecotourism destination,
abundant with rain forests, waterfalls, 20 national parks, sparkling beaches and extraordinary wildlife. The
forest preserves in St. Lucia, lush with giant ferns and wild orchids, are perfect for hiking and bird-watching.

Hawaii is a top pick for whale-watching (November through May is peak season), as is Los Cabos (from the
end of December through March).

If duty-free shopping is a priority, look at Nassau in the Bahamas, Hamilton in Bermuda, Charlotte Amalie on
St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and Old San Juan in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

U.S. citizens who still don't have passports can travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or
Florida. You will only need a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license.
